| Spiderman 3: I have never had to sit such crap before. This was the worst movie I have ever seen. I thought X-3 was bad. No. No this was so so so much worse. This was HULK BAD.
Guys.
HULK BAD.
Kill me now. The CGI was some of the worst that has come out in the last few years. The actual models and sequences were semi-well done, but intergrated horribly into the actual film. As my friend Val said, the CG-ers who worked on this film would have been better put working on a Gumbi movie where everything was /meant/ to look like rubber. The story line was non existent. There was no continuous plot. Nothing connected. Everything was half assed and rushed. The emo is overbearing and it was a joke. It had to have been a joke. I'm waiting for the studio to come out next week be like 'LOLZIES. GOTCHA GUYS' and then release the real movie.
So they made a movie that the lovers of are saying 'Don't take it seriously! It's supposed to be full of comicy humor'. But no. I'm sorry. Even ignoring the fact that the first two of the series /were/ meant to be taken as light comic book humored movies, the movie goes far, far beyond comic book humor. It delves deep into a realm I know as 'crap'. There were parts that were funny. I laughed. But I never felt as if I was laughing /with/ the film. Instead I feel as if I was laughing /at/ it. Counter balanced by the fact I couldn't even take the /serious/ parts seriously because the movie pulled the rug on it's viewers so many times with 'HAH, aren't we clever? You /thought/ this was going to be a serious moment. Suckas!'
It was so bad. It was obvious that they didn't care about this movie. They had everything going for them and they fucked the fans over.
Goddamnit! BAD. I quote from my friend Matt:

I didn't get the project turned in that was due yesterday, I have a project due Monday in another class that I can't do because I can't find the program... and I pretty much hate everyone. I still have to make stupid, ugly little cups and saucers in ceramics before Tuesday. Gag me with a freakin' spoon. Also, that project on Monday is a no-go not only because I don't have the program, but I have not a clue how to make it work. | First off: Getting off for X-Mas break a week earlier than every other person is no fun because OMG THERE IS NO ONE IN TOWN YET. I'm bored as hell! So why don't I RP a lot, might you ask?
I have been testing the waters for the last day. This does not look promising. Every time I'm on the compy for more than 20 minutes this happens:
"Spain! Come down and help us!"
"Okay, with what?"
"Uh... just come down!"
or
"Spain! You're missing the fire!"
or
"Come spend time with us! We never see you!"
*sigh* This is pretty much going to be the norm for most days. Next week my parents will be at work most of the time, so scenes might be doable. Other than that, only late at night will work for me. SPeaking of which, I'm being called downstair.

| HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!
This is by far my favorite holiday. When I was growing up it was fun as a kid trick-or-treating, but as I got older, my area of Texas grew more and more conservative. By the time I was in Jr High, no one really celebrated Halloween. While we used to get hundreds of trick-or-treaters a year, the past 7 or so years my parents report only getting a few. Lot of my friends in HS either were forbidden to celebrate Halloween, or were discouraged from doing so. Ah well.
The one good thing about Texas Halloween was the fact there was a much bigger chance of it being cold. Tonight here in hellicious Florida, it will be 75 degrees. Damn you, tropic zone, DAMN YOU. One day I'll experience a New England Halloween. I hear those are damn good.
But anyways, have a good one! And be safe, nutcases! My costume kicks ass.

We went to Universal Islands of Adventure today in our Legends of the hidden temple gear! We were nervous at first if they would let us even in the park at all with that stuff on. But as the picture of us on the HULK shows, there was no problem at all! The workers loved us, and even a little boy was sooo excited and shouted "You're on GAS!" (Games and Sports is the channel Nickelodeon shows LotHT on now-a-days.) He was adorable. Also, when in the Jurassic Park ride, when the gates opened, the guy in the control booth overrided the automated announcement to say 'Olmec! Open the temple gates!' We also got shout outs on Dueling Dragons. Good times!
So many stories, not enough time to write them all!
